My dear sister got one year wiser in Nov of this year, so I wanted to take her around in San Francisco (in particular, the Legion of Honor), show her my favorite locations for photoshoots, and give her a private portrait photoshoot! There’s no better gift than the gift of time, right?
We met up first and carpooled to lunch in the city. I took her to my usual favorite — Marugame Udon!! It’s delicious. Go check it out if you haven’t. We ate SO much that we were food coma’ed for the next 2 hours… Probably not good before the photoshoot.
Actually, Dan had a fever that afternoon, but she took a painkiller and killed the photoshoot (and also her headache)! When you look at the photos, you definitely can’t tell she’s a girl running a fever.
We started at the 16th Avenue Tiled Steps, but weren’t too impressed with that. It was busy, and the lighting was just plain and boring. We then drove to the Golden Gate Park and walked to the Strawberry Hills, where we ran into Danya! We spent about 20 minutes there, and proceeded to the Legion of Honor. There we made art…
