20 years ago, I hopped on a plane with my Mom and Sister to fly away from all I had ever known to pursue the American Dream. They said in America, you can become whatever you want when you grow up.
For many years, I focused on my education and on excelling in school — artistic creativity was never top of mind for me growing up. It wasn’t until toward the end of high school when I finally picked up the piano, and the world of creativity opened up. After graduating from college, I experimented with my first DSLR camera — a Canon Rebel T2i… and from there, my passion for photography grew, and grew, and grew!
20 years later, I am spending most of my weekends hopping from venue to venue, doing something that the 9-year-old me would never have imagined 20 years ago. Every time I shoot a wedding, it still feels all so surreal — to be able to document one of the most important days for someone… to create ART. This is the American Dream I never knew I had.
And to this day, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
