Patrick & Diane
Garden Court Hotel

Introduction

I have known Diane for many years. Although I don’t quite remember the exact first time we met, I know it was through our dear friend Farrah. We bonded over the years through karaoke, bantering in Cantonese slang, joking with South Park references, etc. Diane is an energetic beast, and there is no dull moment with this “deen poh.” (Not meant to be offensive here)

I really got to know Patrick after one of our LA foodie trips a while back. We spent an extended weekend eating our way through LA, capturing exotic Pokemon in that one Asian Garden, and inhaling ash and smoke from the nearby fires. Quite a memorable trip!

Anyway, Diane and Patrick told me more about their lives together when I did their engagement photoshoot. They wanted to capture the essence of their lives–by taking photos in the Pier 7, a place where they love hanging out at on the weekends while nomming on a local ice cream cone. On the day of the wedding, I was moved by their friends and parents’ speeches. It’s clear that these two were surrounded by warmth and love. The day was hectic, but in the end everyone had a great time. Read on while I take you through their big day.

P.S. Diane and Patrick started planning their big day way over a year beforehand. As a result, they were one of the first few couples to book me as I just started to grow my wedding photography business. Thank you for believing in me from the get-go!
